Ballard Locks as a Local

Romper // Sandals // Handbag (similar) // Necklace

We take most of our out of town guests to the Ballard Locks — which links the Pudget Sound with Lake Union. It’s a great place to watch boats, check out the fish ladder or take a stroll through the Carl S. English Jr. Botanical Garden.

I recently discovered another way to access the Locks without paying to park and fighting crowds. You enter from the Magnolia side of the water at Commodore Park. There is even a cute cement viewing spot that has always been crowd free on all our visits when you first arrive. Put Commodore Park in your GPS and you are off to a crowd free entrance to your Locks experience!!

We will be making a few more trips to the Ballard Locks before summer ends!!

If you are loving this romper, make sure you check out the Tobi website for so many affordable cute dresses and rompers! Now that I am finally not pregnant anymore, I am wearing all the rompers I can before the summer ends!
